How to install Linux Red Hat 7.3 with windows2000 Prof

    Hi every one

I have got HD 40 Gigabyte and I would like to install Linux 7.3 on the same HD .i.e I have dual OS .

Is there any useful site will guide to do this in easy steps? not in too much talking without no useful hints.

my problem is how to partition the HD to accept Linux as second OS.

    Thanks

install windows on a 7GB partition
    then install linux

    make a 100MB /boot
    a 7GB /
    a 2x your RAM swap

and whatever you want with the rest - i often make a FAT32 partition that windows and linux can share

tldp.org has docs, but if you use a modern distro, and tell it to install a boot manager to the MBR you will be fine, it will do it for you.
