Nvidia graphics card on dell inspirion 2650 & RH7
--Nvidia GeForce2 GO 16mb graphics card--
I've been trying to make linux run on my newer laptop since christmas and I cannot make the OS accept the graphics card.
The X desktop is patchy and fuzzy.
Is there a patch that I need?

I have had 2 dell inspiron notebooks, 8100(gf2 go, redhat 7.3) and my 8200(gf4 go, gentoo 1.4) and nvidia makes drivers for both of them for linux. You can download them from the nvidia site.

You shouldn't be looking at the detonator driver, since that's for Windows. Check out the Linux driver page instead.
