New Installation GRUB problem
I just installed Fedora Core 5 and when the system reboots, I get the GRUB prompt.
I reinstalled after having problems. This system has Windows XP on a separate SATA drive. Fedora is on sda2. My system prior to this did boot up with GRUB and allowed me to choose among Fedora or WinXP.
Now I cannot even get the choice.
Any help appreciated.

hi mrbuzz !!!
plug both hard disks. by cable select or jumper settings... make harddisk having windows as master and other as slave....
now for dual booting... you have to in installl GRUB in the MBR of master disk...
boot up through linux installation cd and type...
linux rescue
after a while you will get prompt again....... now type...
chroot /mnt/sysimage
grub-install /dev/sda
press Ctrl + D
again Ctrl + D
machine will reboot and you will Get GRUB screen... select OS from the list and boot up...
you should take care a few things...
*** hard disk having windows should be master and second boot device after CD Drive.. you can change it to first boot device after installing GRUB...
