    install from other pc?


    i've 2 pc's at home,which are connected with a hub. one has no OS's installed and has no cd-rom drives. other is notebook and Slackware/Gentoo/WinXP installed.

    i want to install linux to my old pc, can i use my notebooks partition or cdrom ?

    you can set up a ftp server and install from that!

    u jsut need a bootdisk for the old comp, so it can get into the linux setup thing, then tell it to use the ftp server u set up on the other 1.
