    CD-ROM

    my cd-rom on the user log-in is available and seen. but when i switched to my root it cant be viewed, how do i get this back? ( i switched to root so i can dl some server client's for half life)

    What desktop enviroment do you use? And is it mounted when its not visible as root? Maybe that's the problem?
