How to change passwd for grub...
I got a problem while changing the passwd for grub.Even I go to /boot/grub/grub.conf and changed the password I didn't get any result.My problem is while booting I went to text mode and typed linux single,then it is not asking any passwd it is just loading linux.....
Hope I wanna get a comfortable reply...

Did you do this because you forgot the root password? If so, now you would type in passwd, then enter your password at the prompt.
I would then recommend writing the password down. Also with grub the line you added should have been single, as linux single is for Lilo. Then reboot.
