Rawrite wont let me write to USB
as the title suggests, i cant get rawrite to write to a usb...
is there another program out there or is there a fix?
i used most versions or rawrite, version 1,2, -0.7 etcGAH!!!

What exactly are you trying to do? I'm pretty sure rawrite is only designed to create bootable floppies. I'm guessing you need a bootable flash drive, but what, exactly, are you trying to boot? Knowing that, we can probably find a way to make it work

well, i am trying to install fed core. 5 onto me laptop using usb, and then the internet...
however me laptop doesnt boot from usb which makes things worseGAH!!!

Unfortunately, if your laptop does not support usb booting, it's probably impossible to install that way. Is there no cdrom drive? One option (a difficult hackaround) would be to copy the boot files to a small partition at the end of your hard drive and set the boot flag on that partition. You may also need a boot loader, so install lilo or grub.
Does this make sense at all? IDK whether you're an experienced hacker, a newbie to Linux, or something in between.
