    IRQ sharing poblem during install of FC5

    Hello,

    When installing FC5 on an AMD Althlon FX-62 with a Gigabyte GA-M59SLI-S5 motherboard, a hang occures when the installer gets to this point in the initial boot:
    Serial: 8250/16550 driver $Revision: 1.90 $ 4 ports, IRQ sharing enabled

    Is this a problem with the serial drivers or maybe IRQ sharing? Can either be safely disabled with params to the kernel? Any help would be appreciated, as I am completely lost.
