Primary or Logical
Hello World
Ok, I know this is a really stupid question but I'm going to ask anyway's. I'm about to install Mandriva 2006 on my computer. I already have WinXP on one hard drive and Im going to put Mandriva on it's own hard drive. Here's my question when pre-partitioning it should I set it as a logical or primary. I'm thinking primary but I'm not sure. Im new to this whole Dual booting thing as well as linux.

As you wish. Just make sure you have not more than 4 primary partitions on your disk, or else Windows won't like it.
