    Registering command with Bash?

Atleast I think that's what it's called. Lets say I have a program I want to be able to access by typing the name of the program itself. Something similar to typing in a normal linux command. How would I go about doing this?

Move, copy, link or symlink the executable into some directory in the PATH. Type echo $PATH to see what directories that includes on your system. Or, just add the directory of the program to the PATH, if it seems appropriate.
