I need a little bit of information according towards LINUX OS.
I'm Running WINDOWS XP, and i was still wondering, i know that you are able to run more than one OS on ur machine.
But is it possible for me to Load a LINUX OS on a WINDOWS XP OS?
And if i can, or if u dont know could help you with finidng a website with this answer.

But , is it posible to download Linux software, or do i have to buy it?
and wat are the good advantages of having a linux os in ur computer?

No you dont have to buy linux to be able to use it. You can download Fedora,Gentoo,Debian,Mandrake that are different flavours of linux and use if for FREE.
You can use dualboot if you still want to use XP and be able to run Linux when you feel like it. Then you just have to reboot you computer and bootup on linux. Look at the links below, download the iso:s and burn a booteble cd:s and then you are good to go!
I recommend you to start with Fedora or Mandrake if you are a linux newbie...and then try the others when you are a little more experienced.

www.linuxiso.org will tell you all about downloading and burning the images.

Most linux software comes under some kind of free license but some you do have to pay for. Also you cant really say the advantges untill you know what you want there are lots off them but it depends on the context.

Yeah i'm network specialist, I was using Unix, but I didn't like it that well

Like say for Gaming or like Website making with grafics... well just wanted to know...
