Vista and SUSE 10.1?
OK, here I go, I'm sorry if this has already been brought up.
I have XP on sda1, with a FAT32 D: on sda3 for obvious reasons.
I also have SUSE on sda7 with a swap on sda8 and a home directory on sda6.
Basically, I have an elderly and fragile XP installation. Its about 8 months old
And I want to reinstall it. But before I do that, I thought I'd try Vista.
My question is: When I install Vista, I expect it'll overwrite my MBR. When its installed and working, how can I reinstall GRUB to get it back again? And will it need any different lines on it to make it work?
Thanks,
kev19.

after Vista installation, boot up through SuSe CD and select 'installation'. it will ask for Update or fresh install. select 'Update'. it will install Boot Loader again.
casperIt is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
