Recover my Ubuntu partition
Hi everybody
I need help with a booting problem on my laptop. i have recently had to format my windows partition. the boot loader that came with ubuntu now does not run on startup. im sure there was nothing erased in the linux partition. i need to get back into the linux partition because there are some files that i would like to get back.
how do i get access back to my linux partition. i had ubuntu 6 installed.

Boot with the Ubuntu live cd
open a command prompt and type
" sudo grub-install /dev/hda"
