can we add Windows to linux (FC6) bot loader after we install it ?
Hi
thank you for reading my post
can we add a windows installation (a windows which is installed and can boot the system from its partition) to linux boot loader ?
I want to install Linux on my secondary hard disk and then add windows partition to its boot loader , i do not want linux to write its boot stuff on my windows hard disk and its boot driver.
my plan is :
-remove windows hard disk
-install linux on secondary disk
now both of this hard disk are bootable
-add windows hard disk to computer
4-add windows OS to linux boot loader
is it do able (i mean option 4)?
thanks

Yes you absolutely can. It is done very frequently (I myself in fact do this) and is commonly referred to as dual-booting.

FYI, there is a dual-booting tutorial on this site somewhere that will give you a step-by-step, easy-as-pie way to do it.
