    Linux usually dont need drivers as most things like sound are included in the kernel, you only need drivers for video cards and other special hardware.

    well i went there...my soundcard cannot be detected so i went there:http://alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/

    i searched for intel but my Intel Realtek ALC883 is not in this list..now what???

    WLAN Problems

    Hi recently I installed SUSE 10.1 on my laptop, but I cant configure my WLAN. I browsed the web I found some directions http://www.desktoplinux.com/articles/AT9133949670 . Now I downloaded the driver, but I am having hard time with installing it. I got the directions on how to install it , but when I type the command on shell console it keeps giving me error messages. Please let me know how can I install it.

    You need to tell us what commands you are running and
    for each one what the error messages are.
