install Mandrake in samsung X10 laptop
This problem has been troubled for 2 weeks, and i can't still find out how. May be i am dumb, but i hope any professional can give me some advice, I have a Samsung X10, running XP, trying to install Mandrake 9.2, because there is no floppy disk, then i try to boot it from Mandrake 9.2 disc 1 and disc 2, these two are said to be bootable, but it didn't work, I tried to config the bios to boot the cd first, but it just skipped it and load windows up, please, please, please, can any expert give me some advice...............1000 thanks!!!!!
try to learn linux, but too many obstacles....

do you have any other bootable CD's to hand? maybe a copy of windows install CD or something? put that in your drive to see if it will boot from that.
This will determine if it is your mandrake CD's or the laptop's configuration that is the problem.
