    have a problem with AMD AthlonXP 2600+ ...?

    Hi everyone
    i have a problem in installing "Linux Core 1"(REDHAT LINUX 10)
    My system is :
    CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2600+
    MBoard: GIGABYE GA-7VA VIA KT400 chipset
    HDD: Maxtor 40 plus
    RAM: 256 DDR
    VGA: GFORCE4 128MB
    ...
    during installation have 2problem
    1.when cheak system tell this message and ask restart machin.
    " XIO:fatal IO error 104 (connection reset by peer) on X server ":1.0"
    after 0 requests (0 know processed) with 0 events remaining.

    2.some times pass this level but after some min stop cd reading and hang!!!
    please help me ...

    this is a first time i want to install LINUX...
