    installing mandrake 10 CE

    while installing mandrake 10 CE i keep receiving two error messages concerning

    pearl-base-5.8.3-5mdk.i583

    popt-1.8.2-7mdk.i586

    i was able to finish the installation but im not able to load kde...ive tried using the disks to repair but it wont let me since Pearl has an error

    any ideas?

    what are the error messages that you get?

    I mean, has perl been sucessfully loaded on your PC?
