SIS Serial ATA controllers
After trying and failing to install Suse 9.0 on my new computer (it would not recognize my harddrive), I decided to download and try Fedora 1.91, figuring that it would have a better chance of recognizing the drive (since supposedly it has libata built in the 2.6 kernel?). Even still, the setup program does not recognize any harddrives as existing. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
System:
P4 2.8C
Asus P4S800D-E Deluxe with Sis 655TX
Seagate 120G Serial ATA

I used a Gentoo experimental CD to get mine working it needs to be a 2.6.x kernel.

Doesn't Fedora 2 Core use the 2.6.x kernel though?
