Question Problem after installing Fedora Core 6!

Hi all,

I installed Fedora Core yesterday on my pc, but after rebooting i got a black screen with the error message "frequency out of range..". When trying to see what is this about (alt-ctl-F1), I got this message:

Leftover inexact backtrace:
--------------------------
kobject_add failed for vcsa1 with -EEXIST, don't try to register things with same name in the same directory.
[<c0405876>] dump_trace+0x69/0x1af
............ lot of lines like above
DWAKF2 unwinder stuckat syscall_call+0x7/0xb
Leftover inexact backtrace:
--------------------------

Any ideas even if u 're not sure!
Thanks.

Hi kordix !

Welcome to the LinuxForums !

in GRUB screen, select Fedora title and press 'e'. select 'kernel' line, press 'e' again and add <space> 3 at the end of line. press 'Enter' key and press 'b' to boot up. this will drop you on command line login prompt. log in as root and execute this command.
Code:
 system-config-display
select Generic Monitor in Monitors List, configure display, resolutions etc. execute 'startx' to check GUI.
