using 32 bit applications with 64 bit FC6

I am currently using Fedora Code 2 (32 bit). I am going to upgrade my hardware to AMD opetron (64 bit) processors and wish to install Fedora core 64 bit Operating system on it.

I want to know will all 32 bit applications run directly on it or I have to use only 64 bit applications. I will also be using VMware to create windows virtual disk. Will it run properly ? I have also got few other 32 bit applications for which there is no 64 bit version available.

I would highly recommend you not use 64-bit Linux at this time.

Most 32-bit apps will work just fine in 64-bit Linux. In fact, usually at least a handful of applications installed by default on a 64-bit Linux distribution are 32-bit. You're likely to run into trouble with Java, Flash, and WINE however. This is mentioned in my link above.
