Ubuntu installation problem
Ok so i boot the Ubuntu CD and i get the screen asking Install/Start Ubuntu..etc
i press on the install/start and it a loading screen appeared. After that the screen became green (in other attempts it was bluish red) and i think the cd was being read anymore. i think its a problem with my computer because the same thing happened with Fedora. Has anyone encountered this problem before and would like to share a solution to the problem Thank you in advance(i really, really wanna try linux so badly.)
heres my pc specs:
Dell XPS051
Intel Pentium D
Microsoft Windows XP media center Version 2002 SP2
1.00GB RAM
2.99 GHz
my screen resolution is 1680 by 1050 pixels and i have a NVIDIA GeForce 6800 video card

maybe the burn is bad, try checking the md5sum of the iso. Do this in windows by downloading something like fsum.
