SuSE install hangs
i bought a linux user mag with SuSE 9.0 on the cover cd, but the install hangs every time.
it goes through the "mode" select and detects my hardware but it hangs at "analysing partitions, just a moment." it does this on the server and the desktop install (i tried server after having this problem with desktop)
the system completly crashes, power switch won't work, won't respond to keyboard or mouse movement, "num lock light doesn't come on when "num lock" key is pressed, the only way to reboot is with the hard reboot button (which works).
any help would be appericiated, as i would realy like to try this distro.Cry out for freedom! Cry out for Linux!

SuSE Install
Welcome, I remember having this problem about seven years ago with SuSE.It turned out to be not enough RAM.SuSE is one of the less demanding on hardware but there is a minimum.
