Red Hat 9 can't load Raid driver

I'm trying to install red hat 9 on a raid 0 drive. The controller is an onboard Promise FastTrak 133. I found the red hat driver at the Promise site and copied the files to a floppy but red hat won't load it. I tried formatting the floppy in Knoppix(ext2) but its the same case. Need some help here.

"red hat wont load it" doesnt really give any sort of clue as to what is happening..

What are you typing, and what error messages are appearing in response?
