cannot install packages from CD
Hi,
well I managed to install Fedora Linux on my pc for the first time and to log in...
now I tried to install additional packages using add/remove but for some strange reason I get a message which, tells me that an error have been occured and then the installation exits. It happens to every package I have chosen to install...
can anyone tell me why it happened...
p.s.
Do I need to download the Java sdk for Linux or is it shiped in the fedora cd?

Are you installing as root? Is the proper cd in and is it mounted?

well I am logged in as root...
and the proper CD is in...
but I am not sure if its mounted... do I need to manually mount the CD or should it automaticly be mounted when I insert it to the CD-ROM?
