Disappearing files in Linux/WinXP shared FAT32 partition
I hope someone has seen this before:
I have a FAT32 partition so that common files can be shared in my dual boot system. When creating a file in the FAT32 partition using Linux, the file disappears when WinXP views the same directory.
Creation and reading files in the opposite direction works fine. (Creating a file in WinXP, reading in Linux).
The file permissions of the linux created files are no different from the ones created by WinXP.
Is there an obivous problem/solution here?
Thanks.
