i have a problem

i downloaded the 4 cds for linux mandriva 2007 .rar ,and i burned it as bootable data disk by "nero" but when i reboot and boot from it, it give me something like "msdos" not the graphical windwos with 2 choice "enter" or "f1"
and i don't know what i do
if anyone could tell me how to burn it from rar file as bootable or another S.

This is not the way to do it.

Those 4 CD files are not .rar : they are of .iso extension. Simply .iso files are associated with Winrar by default.

In Nero, you must burn them by choosing "Burn CD Image" (don't make them bootable, they will be by default).

Or he downloaded the .iso files archieved as .rar.

In that case, unpack them and burn the .iso files.

but i have another one
i burn it with k3b "mandrake 10.1".. and it work but when i boot from it and choose to installation it give me this message" Fatal error finishing initialization" with "ok" button, when i press "ok" it tell me "you may safely reboot or halt your system" .
i tried to chooce another option "vgal0, vgah16, installation -- acpi, alt0, alt1" it give me the same result.

i found it ....

i reburn the first cd with lower speed "40x" by nero and it workes
