    I have major probe with my two linux systems not booting.
    I can only access windoze at the moment.
    Seems grub refuses to write to the MBR.


    I have a thing called GAG wich is a boot loader but can't find my Linux disks.
    XOSL seems to only run under dos and not win XP/2000.

    Is this right?

    Welcome to the LinuxForums.
    which distro do you have? all Linux distros install their Boot Loader GRUB/Lilo and setup dual boot by default. i never used XOSL or GAG coz GRUB works perfectly.
    give us a bit more details. what is the problem and what you have tried already etc.
