    Arch Linux installation reboots


    When i boot the arch linux cdrom (the full version)
    I press enter and the machine reboot
    The machine is a p3 1Ghz 256MB RAM (desktop)
    20GB ide hard drive
    I have no clue what to do, i have succefully installed ubuntu on it, any idea why it reboots?

    Can you describe with considerably more detail where you are at when it reboots? How far did the install get? What is displaying on screen when this happens? Please be more verbose.

    When it stop

    It stops after the initrd, after the second line displayed on the screen.
