help: installing on logical partition
I already have 3 partitions, but I cannot delete any of them. so i have to make a logical partition in order to install linux. last time i attemted this it didnt mount and i was left out in the cold... so if anybody has any guides or anything on how to properly set up a linux installation on a logical partition it would be appreciated...
i plan to use fedora core 6 64bit (good, bad, ok?)

hi dracule,
Linux doesn't care about partition type and you can install it in Logical Partition too. Format Logical Partition in 'ext3'.
i would suggest you to install 32bit only even if you have 64bit processor. check this link.
CasperIt is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

i just wanted to make sure grub would install ok... yeah, i think im going to go the 32 bit route
