FYI: An error occurred transferring the install
I treid installing Fedora about 10x with different partition setups (manual & automatic) and everytime got this message:
An error occurred transferring the install image to your hard drive. You are probably out of disk space.
I just wanted to post my solution for others. I removed a stick of RAM and it installed perfect (I have 2 x 256 PC2700)!

An error occurred transferring the install image to your hard drive.
I was also facing this problem. For a week I tried each and every possible combination, tricks, every possibility but no help.
My solution
Actually the error message was misguiding.
The media (CD) was corrupt. I installed it from a CD after checking it from media check prompt that displayed in the starting of installation
I checked all other previous CD and found all corrupted.
