    beginner in linux


    i am new to linux........can any one please tell which version to install for beginners.??

    I hear that Ubuntu is very good for begginers.
    I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

    we can't tell you which distro is best for you. try as many as you can and pick the one that you like the most or suites your needs.
    take a look here too.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
