    Question mandriver install cd reboots pc



    hey i recently aquired a college computer...ya no the ones they chuck out...and the computer works fine .....for windows ¬.¬ but when ever i try installing linux the pc just restarts when it trys booting from the cd rom

    help any ideas on what this could be? and why it happens

    pc:

    200mhz intel processor and mainboard
    64mb sim memory
    two sata hard drives(not sure on this)

    That's an old timer: Does the BIOS support CD Booting?
