    Do you have a md5 sum tool avalible? If yes, check if the ISO file is not corrupt. If not, you can find a md5sum tool at linuxiso.org at the cd burning howto.

    usually with something like easy cd creator or nero, you have the option of writing an image if you select write image from the boot menu should make it bootable for you.
