Wanted: Installation setup for old laptop... with GUI in Italian!!

This is an installation question as well as a question about distributions. I've posted it here because I don't think it would get to the right readers in "Other Distributions", and, I'm not sure it would even necessarily fall into that category.

Here's an excellent site on Linux for older laptops:

Now here's my problem. I want to install a Linux distro on a 10Gb partition with 224Mb of RAM, ADM Athlon +2000, Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo-A laptop, however, I would like the GUI and programs to be in Italian! I don't know if this is possible. Xfce doesn't seem to be available in Italian, nor does Zenwalk Linux, according to what I've read. Another possibility is Slax, however I'm not sure about system requirements and language packages. They seem to have special language modules (and two Italian language packages - &, however, I'm not sure about how to install onto iso and onto HD. Also, I don't know what the language packages are for exactly (GUI? Programs? Installation?) I don't want a live Linux distro, I do want to install it on the hard drive. I might also have a dual boot problem (there's another OS on the 30Gb partition). Are there any mainstream distros which I could install and that would do what I want?

    Any takers?
