    Question keyboard/mouse unresponsive at boot time

    hi,

    i'm attempting a Vista/SUSE 10.2 x86/64 dual boot install on a Dell E520/Intel core duo 2.

    although the keyboard and mouse work fine under vista, if i boot from the suse install DVD, the mouse and keyboard don't respond , so at the promt, it automatically boots from HD.

    My keyboard/mouse are USB connected. I do not have a PS2 slot.

    Any help would be really appreciated.

    additional clue

    i don't have the above problem if i use the SUSE 10.0 install DVD rather than 10.2.
