    GRUB lost!?



    Hey all.

    GRUB doesn't appear any more. Can anyone help out; I'm completely new to Linux, so I'd appreciate a rather simplified suggestion.

    History:
    Desktop PC with windows XP SP2.
    - XP was installed in drive C, but I'd been facing many problems.
    - Mounted a second hard-drive (80Gb) where I installed open SuSE 10.2 (Gnome). Sweet!
    - Problems with XP became intolerable.
    - Had to format drive C. (SuSE remained intact).
    - GRUB no longer appears.

    Is there a way to bring GRUB back?

    boot up from SuSe Installation CD/DVD and select 'Installation' option. select 'Update' option in next screen. click next, next, next..... Installer will install GRUB again.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
