Net install with several distros
I have tried to do a net install of debian, suse and Mandrake, but when I get boot them and enter the network boot parameters, it just goes toa black screen a stays there doing nothing, what could be the problem?

I'm assuming at least one of these distros has the ability to let you use a shell on an alternative terminal (I'd be very surprised if there is one of them that doesn't). Switch to that terminal and check with the different net tools (ifconfig, etc.) if the network device has been properly configured. If it has has, check if the ping tool is available on the boot disk and, if it is, try pinging another computer on the LAN.
