[SOLVED] need to fix mbr

Hello,

I have installed FC+winxp+vista on friends computer.
Now, I have removed FC6, and I wanna fix mbr, to be able to boot into vista and xp.
Now, I dont know how to fixmbr with vista. Or, if I fix mbr with XP, will I be able to boot into vista?

Thaks in advance.

Boot up from Vista Installation DVD and select Repair Your Computer option (its below Install Icon). Select Windows Vista -- Command Prompt.
Execute this at command prompt:
Code:
bootrec.exe /fixmbr
bootrec.exe /fixboot
Close Command Prompt window and restart.
It will remove GRUB and Vista will boot up on reboot.

Well thanks, bit I solved the problem alredy.

I booted into a vista install dvd, and selected repair-startup repair. Than I went in Vista, installed Easy BCD and added xp to boot configuration file.

Thanks anyway
