SuSE on a MAC
I have installed Linux onto a couple PC's and had no trouble, but I have heard installing on a MAC is a bit different. I have SuSE 7.1 to install onto a powerbook G3 series (266MHz, 64MB RAM, 4Gig HD, 4MB video, CD, Modem). Does anyone have any pointers before I start this install? Do I need to keep OS9 on it or can I have it just boot to Linux? Also is there anything special that I need to install to make it work?
Thanks,

hmm, a girl. NICE!
anyways, well I'm not much on PPC hardware, but what I have dealt with, it pretty much goes like this: If you're using NewWolrd firmwares in it (not sure when that started) you can simply boot off the cd and it'll do the boot manager and crap for you. on OldWorld firmware you have to use this stuff called BootX or something to that extent which is installed from OS9. This is all I really know, good luck!
