    sound card headache

    hello..

    i've a laptop toshiba satellite, i installed linux red hat 9 on it and i can't make my sound card work. i have an ali sound card m5451 (i think ) and linux can't find the rigth driver for it. does any of you know where could i find it? i've searched it a lot, but without luck... i really miss the sound...

    I did a google on 'm5451' and came up with this:

    It gives a download and tells you how to create a module. It's for Suse, but I think that it will still work for RH. I think that you would want to go for creating a module. If you want, you can ask the guy who made it (it's on his page). Hope this helps!
