installing win98 with winxp and linux
I created a new partition on my hard drive and want to install win98se on it but don't want it to screw my lilo boot. I have mandrake linux and winxp installed also. can someone help me with this? Or is there at least a way to repair lilo if it is overwritten?

How?, is there a site where i can learn how? Will the mandrake cd automatically detect that my lilo boot is gone and repair it?

Don't know if this also applies to mandrake but Slack has a bootdisk that allows extra parameters on bootup; using root=/dev/hdX, where X is the drive and partition your root is located, will bootup your installed slackware.
Rerunning lilo at the prompt as root will reinstall your lilo config.
Don't forget to include an extra line for you newly installed M$ W98se.
