    Question mp3 on hoarty


    Hi, I'm trying to make work an old machine with ubuntu hoarty, 'cause any other newer crash, any way, I all ready have it installed and running ok, but I can't work MP3 format, I've try downloading the gstream08-mad, but when I try to compile it, this is what I got:

    Another stuff is that I can't do apt-get install or use Synapticad to install things because the hoarty doesn't isn't supported anymore....

    perhabs you should get gcc-c++

    Install build-essential package.
