Hello, I just successfully installed Ubuntu Linux. I did not create a separate partition for /home. What are the consequences of this?...

You don't really need a partition just for home.
in / just do a mkdir home.

If you did not create a separate /home, it means that if ever you decide to reinstall you will lose all your data in /home, so you have to back it up first.
