Raid
I would like to use the iswraid driver from sourcefourge.net in order to have raid capability using kernel 2.6.20 From that site, I'm told that the driver has to be applied to a source kernel and recompiled in order to install with ICH7 Raid support.
I'm wondering if someone can tell me what tools I'll need for this process. Also, how does one apply a driver to a kernel that one intends to re-compile?
Any help here would be greatly appreciated

Correction
The Sourceforge.net Raid driver it seems only supports the 2.4 versions on the kernel, whereas this version (Index of /~heinzm/sw/dmraid/src), from dmraid supports the 2.6 kernels. Still don't know how to compile the kernel with the driver.
