Burn Linux From Scratch to Hard Drive via LiveCD. Need Instructions
I am having trouble understanding some of the concepts relative to using the Linux from Scratch LiveCd as a stable OS system to make it possible to easily install Linux From Scratch to the hard drive. The thing is that I was told by a Linux specialist that it was not possible to actually burn files from the LiveCD to the hard drive. I am, of course, able to create partitions on the hard drive, I just don't know how or what exactly I'm suppose to do to burn an instance of the LinuxFromScratch LiveCD to my hard drive. I've even noticed that the LinuxFromScratch LiveCD does not have a /boot directory which holds the kernel, so I'm wondering how this will work, in any event.
If you are experienced in this and can help. Please respond.
