Dual Boot Error
I had a dual boot system on my computer with one partition running WinXP and one running Ubuntu Studio. i didn't ever use the ubuntu and it was taking up hard drive space so i deleted the partition and now when i turn it on it says "error: no such partition." i really don't want to have to reinstall, what do i do?
Welcome to the forums! :)
You can use your Windows XP installation disk and the fixmbr command to restore the Windows bootloader.
As an alternative, the SuperGRUB LiveCD should be able to restore it as well.
thank you. as you can probably tell i'm a rookie when it comes to computers.
