Dual boot with Suse 9.2 and Windows xp
To start easy, I installed suse 9.2 deleting my 20 GB NTFS partition on a 20 GB drive with windows xp installed. This worked ok.
I read in the forums that it's much easier installing windows before installing Linux.
Therefore I deleted all the linux partitions, after which I installed windows xp, letting windows setup create a fat32 partition.
After installing windows, I started suse setup. I let it make my windows partition smaller. During this operation, it told me about an internal error, but it told me my windows configuration was still intact.
I decided to make my windows partition smaller manually. So I created a 10 GB Unallocated partition.
When I start linux setup now, it freezes during:
> int.14: soft raid
I tried converting the Unallocated partition to FAT32 before running setup but this generates the same problem.
What do I have to do to get it work?
For your information: I'm a linux newbie...
Thank you for help.
