Freezes at Install
While installing RHEL, my PC freezes at the following point:
"loading SCSI driver" "loading AIC7XXX driver..."
Keyboard keys won't work, so I can't do anything.
CDROM drive light isn't lit.
I've tried command line install with same result. Tried to disable SCSI in BIOS but there was no setting - I have onboard SCSI - Intel Serverboard C440GX. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Do you get to select a kernel and options at boot? If so, you should be able to specify an option like 'noscsi' to not load scsi drivers. Then you can load what you need (if any) after boot. 8)
