Hard Drive reporting free space incorrectly?
Let me start by telling u im a complete newb to the world of Linux so try to say things slowly :D .
Following the "Getting started " guide on the Red Hat webby, I have managed to get 3 Redhat 9 Linux CDs.
My problem is this;
On install, when i want to resize the existing partition I have ( Windows FAT32), and I type resize 1020 36880 ( or watever ). IT waits for a while then tells me that " The hard Drive is reporting Free Space as 16131 not 16003, Ignore or Cancel" Or something along those lines.
I dont want to break my hd even though i have backups :).
So, should I ignore this error? In case you havent guessed I wimped out at this error and chose cancel :D.
Thanks a lot for ure time and answers.
